Lucu Lucu Gaming, abbreviated as LLG, is a gaming, technology, and movie review channel on YouTube. Their previous logo was too complicated and could not represent the channel as a media brand.
The logo had too many details and wouldn't work in small sizes. It also could not work on single-coloured setups, mainly because of the many tints and shades.
So a new logo was made to relaunch LLG as a credible media channel. The new direction was to make it simple but also distinctive enough so people could easily recall the brand.
The concept for the visual is to use a clean geometric and spiky typeface to provide a clean outlook of the brand. The team asked us to keep the owl as the totem to represent the channel. Why an owl? Because gamers play video games day and night.
We used the owl as the distinctive part of the visual identity and we incorporated the shape into the G letter.
